Born from Something
Deeply Personal
Lucky Hope Initiative was born from something deeply personal. My younger brother is non-verbal and on the autism spectrum. Loving him has opened my eyes in ways I can't fully explain — it has taught me patience, compassion, and the true meaning of unconditional love.
Through him, I've seen both the beauty and the challenges that children with disabilities face every day. I've watched him try to communicate in a world not always designed for him. I've seen the resilience of our family. And I've seen the gaps — in education, in inclusion, in opportunity.
Seeing children miss out on opportunities they deserve breaks my heart — and I can't ignore that feeling. It's what pushed me to start this journey. Lucky Hope Initiative is more than a project. It's a purpose. A promise to stand for children who are often overlooked. A step toward a world where every child is seen, valued, and included.
“I don't believe that a child having a disability means they lack ability. Every child has potential. Every child deserves love, support, and the chance to be included.”
Our Four Pillars of Action
Lucky Hope Initiative works across four key areas to support children with disabilities and their families in the Arusha community.
Education Support
We work to ensure children with disabilities have access to quality education.
Inclusive Access
We advocate for inclusive opportunities so all families can access Tanzania's natural environment.
Family Support
We provide support networks for families raising children with disabilities.
Advocacy
We raise awareness about autism, disability, and inclusion in the Tanzanian community.
Life in Arusha
Real moments from the community we serve. Every photo represents a child, a family, and a hope for a better tomorrow.
How Safaris Fund Hope
When you book a safari with Lucky Wild Safaris, a portion of every booking directly supports the Lucky Hope Initiative's community work in Arusha. Adventure and impact, together.
A World Where Every
Child is Included
Lucky Wild Safaris is more than a travel company. It is a reflection of a deeper purpose: to open the beauty of Tanzania's landscapes and wildlife to all, while quietly advocating for inclusion, understanding, and equal opportunity.
Every safari you book does more than give you a once-in-a-lifetime experience — it helps fund education materials for a child, supports a family navigating an unfamiliar system, and amplifies a voice that often goes unheard.
“For us, every journey has meaning — and every step is guided by hope.”
